Burger King

An online festival that turned the brand's crown into a platform for artistic reinterpretation.

In March 2020, Burger King held the CrownFest online festival on the brand's official Instagram account. The event was designed to engage artists from different disciplines in creating their own version of the crown, one of the brand's main symbols. Participants downloaded a template and built an image on its basis, which was then published on the brand's account. The festival also included interactive mechanics: users could decode encrypted paintings and virtually try on crowns. Nikas Safronov presented three design variations. His participation was meant to show followers that CrownFest was not merely a creative contest, but a genuine exhibition staged in an online format.
